*summary*:
the procurement category manager will establish a long-term, 1-3 year category plan for moderately sized spend categories to drive value across the enterprise for the assigned spend area. This strategy development work is done in partnership with the various business unit stakeholders across the enterprise. Category strategies include spend analysis/mapping, external market analysis, vendor management and establishing a multi-year project portfolio. He/she will also lead sourcing projects based on the category strategy and on-demand project from the respective stakeholders.
*key responsibilities*:
- develops category plan and portfolio for moderately sized spend categories with mid to high-level critically and complexity.
- builds strong stakeholder relationships to prioritize and deliver on portfolio projects.
- manages strategic vendor relationships and performance to ensure delivery of service, quality, cost and supply commitments.
- lead sourcing projects including rfi, rfp, rfq and contract development.

- bachelor's degree (b.a. or b.s.) from 4 year college or university*relevant experience*:
