- The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom ABAP programs and solutions. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
- Analyze functional requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
- Perform system debugging, optimization, and performance tuning of ABAP code.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals.
- Provide ongoing support for SAP systems, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines.
- Participate in code reviews and peer programming sessions to ensure code quality.
- Document technical designs, workflows, and support processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Proficiency in developing SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, or HCM.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP programming techniques, including: o Reports (classical and ALV) o Enhancements (user exits, BAdIs) o Interfaces (IDocs, RFC, BAPI) o Forms (SAPscript, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms) o Workflows
- Strong knowledge of ABAP Clean Core concept and its application in SAP environments.
- Knowledge of Restful ABAP Programming (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model).
- Experience in HCM / SuccessFactors modules to support HR processes and integration.
- Knowledge of S/4 HANA Cloud (Public or Private).
- Knowledge of GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Experience with Eclipse as a development environment.
- Advanced debugging and performance optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in Advanced English skills (oral and written). Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP integration tools (e.g., PI/PO, CPI).
- Knowledge of ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Certification in SAP ABAP Cloud technologies.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
