What you’ll do
- Develop and implement comprehensive functional testing strategies and plans tailored to P&C; insurance applications.
- Design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with the client’s development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not impacted by new changes.
- Design/update/execute automated test scripts to validate the user stories and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Work with the automated regression team to make sure scripts are updated in the common automation repository.
- Provide detailed reports on testing progress, coverage, and results to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in functional testing and P&C; insurance.
What you’ll bring
- 8+ years of experience in functional testing, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
- 5+ years of experience in the P&C; insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, ADO or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TOSCA).
