The director of finance oversees all financial and accounting functions.
responsibilities:
* lead global finance operations in mexico and internationally.
* manage the finance team, overseeing daily activities for treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost control, tax, and reporting and consolidation.
* ensure statutory compliance through reviewing and finalizing audited financial accounts and managing tax and related regulations.
* prepare regular management reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
* coordinate with stakeholders on finance-related matters.
* advise on internal controls, systems, processes, directives, and procedures, ensuring compliance and automation of reports.
* monitor collections and manage working capital requirements, including cash management, payables, and capital expenditures.
* direct the formulation and development of the business plan and budget, financial projections, and cash flow projections to support short-term initiatives and long-term strategies.
* oversee audit, tax, and internal control operations.
* develop a corporate fundraising strategy and manage relationships with partners and investors.
qualifications include a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, administration, or economics, with a master's degree preferred. At least 15 years of finance and accounting experience, with 8 years of management experience, is required. Knowledge of finance erps, such as oracle, sap, hfm, etc., is also necessary.
