role
the hr generalist will play a pivotal role within ceva méxico, specifically supporting the hr partnership department. Based at the irapuato gto, this role serves as a strategic partner, collaborating closely with leadership and employees to foster a positive and performance-driven workplace culture.
key responsibilities
* act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on a wide range of hr matters including employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organisational change.
* partner with department leaders to understand business objectives, aligning hr strategies to support operational goals and drive organisational effectiveness.
* facilitate recruitment processes by collaborating with hiring managers to identify talent needs, coordinate selection activities, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
* support and guide managers on workforce planning, compensation, benefits, and regulatory compliance to maintain fair and consistent human resource practices.
* develop and deliver employee engagement initiatives to promote an inclusive workplace where diversity is respected and valued.
* manage employee lifecycle events such as onboarding, career progression, transitions, and offboarding with professionalism and confidentiality.
* collaborate with hr colleagues to continuously improve hr policies, procedures, and tools to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
candidate profile
* proven experience in hr business partnering or generalist roles, preferably within logistics or supply chain sectors.
* strong knowledge of mexican labour law and hr best practices to advise effectively on legal and ethical employment issues.
* exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships at all organisation levels.
* demonstrated ability to analyze people-related challenges and develop practical solutions tailored to business needs.
* proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
* ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality consistently.
