Responsibilities
* responsible for following the required mechanisms to verify and maintain the integrity of the mrp/erp system, keeping track of all internal original documents and coordinating activities related to the implementation of engineering changes and comply with the guidelines and regulations of environment health, safety.
* support all users johnson controls be services plant, providing service focused on update, monitor, maintain documents records and monitor system database information; as well increase the user effectiveness by a service with informative orientation and training having an integrated information system.
* follow established procedures to maintain an accurate mrp/erp system, document control and engineering changes.
* establish direct communication with users so that information flow is fast and effective.
* analyze information that needs to be processed in the mrp/erp system.
* process information in the mrp/erp system following procedures to maintain the integrity of the master files.
* save information in electronic files in the folder that corresponds to the part numbers.
* review work instructions to be validated; register the database in documents that need validation by assigning sequence numbers depending on document type.
* create fcn implementation plans.
* participate in vave projects.
* support production for bom discrepancies.
* execute massive changes for boms, material master, and routings.
* receive and review engineer changes, report discrepancies to the design team.
* follow the engineering changes implementing process.
* generate weekly engineering changes report and distribute via email to all involved.
* verify ec's implemented on floor.
* participate as internal auditor of iso 9001 and/or 5's.
* participate in risk management, including identification of failure modes, hazards and environmental aspects, assessment and the definition and implementation of controls.
* participate in incident and nonconformity investigations as well as in the determination of the necessary corrective actions.
* active participation in plant programs such as safetrack observations, suggestion box, employee idea system, lpa and 6s audits.
* participate in the plant training program attending trainings as scheduled and, when required, acting as internal instructor.
* comply with the documented procedures, instructions, and standards of the integrated management system and, when required, participate in their review and improvement.
* identify and report any injury or potential injury and any potential environmental impact.
* identify and intervene to correct unsafe acts and recognize safe behavior.
* identify and intervene to correct unsafe and off standard conditions; when immediate correction is not possible, report to the direct manager or the corresponding department.
* review and prevent the consequences of all actions before any activity and apply the stop work policy when needed.
* perform every activity considering the requirements of the integrated management system to contribute to the achievement of its objectives and to fulfill the quality policy and the environmental, health and safety policy.
