Job description:
we are seeking an experienced enterprise sales professional to spearhead our efforts in the technology field.
this is a mid-senior level role that requires a track record of delivering outstanding results and exceeding expectations. The successful candidate will have expertise in linux and open source, exceptional academic credentials, and excellent presentation skills.
key responsibilities:
* developing and deepening understanding of linux and cloud software ecosystem, and open source selling models
* negotiating contracts and commercial business terms
* building and expanding strategic relationships with key stakeholders
* owning the strategy and development of sales engagements to drive revenue growth
* increasing customer awareness of open source capabilities on canonical ubuntu
* delivering against targets, objectives, and providing a voice of the partner and/or customer
* traveling domestically and internationally to drive partnerships in person
* aligning and supporting internal field teams to identify, support, grow, and transact
* collaborating with marketing, sales engineering, and product management to deliver against targets, objectives, and provide a voice of the partner and/or customer

* experience with linux and open source technologies
* exceptional academic credentials from both high school and university
* an undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about your alternative chosen path
* the confidence to speak up, exchange feedback, and share ideas without hesitation
* leadership and commitment to skills development and mentorship
* a passion for technology evidenced by personal projects and initiatives
* the work ethic and confidence to shine alongside motivated colleagues
* professional written and spoken english with excellent presentation skills
