Procurement specialistabout the role:this role will be responsible for executing global indirect procurement strategies to optimize costs and ensure an efficient supply of indirect materials and services for the automotive industry.main responsibilities:optimize administrative management of purchase orders through technological tools.control budgets and kpis for the category, ensuring savings and efficiency objectives are met.evaluate supplier performance and delivery times for indirect materials and services.negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive terms and generate cost reduction initiatives.prevent supply disruptions and guarantee operational capacity of suppliers.manage key supplier relationships, including contracts, pricing, supply capacity, and conflict resolution.analyze market trends and emerging technologies to strengthen procurement strategy.cordinate rfq processes, internal approvals, and supplier selection according to corporate policies.compliance with financial policies and code of ethics at all stages of the process.lead complete procurement cycle, ensuring efficiency and compliance.develop long-term category plans.requirements:bachelor's degree in business, engineering, and/or economics.5+ years experience in purchasing (capital, strategic sourcing, negotiation).
excellent project management and communication skills.persuasiveness, assertiveness, and target orientation.fluency in english.strong proficiency in ms office and sap.good interpersonal skills (communication, team player).
preferred qualifications:master's degree.problem solving, ability to understand technical information.automotive experience.
