Job description

managing the delivery of aveva based product enhancement & implementation projects using appropriate frameworks.
Leading team meetings (daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, sprint retrospective), ensuring they are productive and within the timebox.
Monitoring project metrics, providing feedback, and helping the team identify areas for improvement.
Working with the product owner, functional analyst & other stakeholders to ensure the product backlog is clear, concise, and prioritized effectively.
Proactively communicating delivery targets, commitments, and progress to stakeholders.
Coordinating infrastructure request follow‑ups to eliminate the team's resource dependencies.
Overseeing aveva licenses on the vendor portal and liaising with the vendor representative.
Efficiently allocating and overseeing resources to ensure optimal productivity and support the team's objectives.
Planning, coordinating, and overseeing the software product release process with help of azure devops to ensure timely delivery and alignment with quality standards.
Identifying and removing impediments that hinder the team's progress, working with other stakeholders as needed.
Acting as a liaison between the team and external stakeholders, such as customers, management, and other teams.

Qualifications

minimum 5 years' experience in successful delivery of complex software projects end to end.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or related field.
Experience managing projects preferably for healthcare / medical devices customers.
Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
Ability to influence others across various levels in the organization, work independently, and manage through ambiguity.
Ability to effectively balance and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and techniques.
Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
Experience collaborating with si delivery partners.
Experience managing sdlc deliverables in a gxp setting.
Ability to identify and resolve project issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members.
Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques.
A good understanding of the technical aspects of the projects they are leading.
Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and management of multiple priorities with competing demands for resources.

product owner - americas engineering pod for iwpb digital platforms
role purpose: this role is responsible for defining and prioritizing the roadmap for infrastructure initiatives and products, ensuring they align with the strategic objectives of iwpb digital platforms and deliver value to our retail banking customers. You will work closely with our delivery and engineering teams, as well as our colleagues in itid, to support the delivery of world‑class service across 300+ digital banking services globally.
Main activities

define and articulate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the americas engineering pod's infrastructure products and initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall iwpb digital platform goals.
Translate business needs and customer requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and strategic importance.
Manage initiatives which can provide new products to the business with a competitive edge.
Manage initiatives which protect and secure new or existing services and products to the business.
Work closely with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure solutions meet product requirements and quality standards.
Ensure operational and system tests are successfully completed and results are shared with teams.
Ensure infrastructure billing is as per agreed estimates.
Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders with regard to the progress of infrastructure‑related tasks in relation to agreed timelines and milestones.
Manage and report risks associated with the infrastructure area.
Ensuring infrastructure deliverables are as per the agreed quality, cost, and on schedule.
Conduct regular team meetings and produce periodic reports.
Timely escalation of issues and mitigation actions.
Manage and co‑coordinate with it teams to resolve post‑production defects and provide regular updates.
Act as the principal coordinating point for infrastructure teams.
Assist in the release of projects to production and provide post‑implementation support.
Infrastructure life cycle management, including evergreening.
Work closely with engineering teams to support the activities of infrastructure life cycle management, including patching, vulnerability fix, upgrade, evergreening and demise.

Qualifications required

ability to build strong relationships and communicate with a wide spectrum of stakeholders, especially with senior stakeholders in business & it.
Familiarity with jira, confluence, devops tools, agile methodologies, and open to new ways of working.
Experience of managing multi‑disciplined, multi‑location teams to timelines.
Ability to work in an unstructured and changing environment and adaptable to managing changing priorities with the ability to pivot on strategy and priorities when business needs arise.
Self‑sufficient and demonstrates initiative, and open to learn new practices and techniques.
