Flow controller – inventory & cycle count management (1 year contract).
role purpose the flow controller is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable inventory flow on site.
this role focuses on executing and managing cycle counts, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating with operations, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability and smooth production flow.
key responsibilities inventory control & accuracy plan, execute, and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts.
investigate inventory discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
maintain high inventory accuracy levels aligned with company kpis.
material & flow management monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages, overstock, and line-side disruptions.
coordinate material movement between warehouse, production, and external storage.
validate system transactions (erp/wms) align with physical stock.
on-site operations support act as the point of contact for inventory-related issues on the shop floor.
collaborate with production, logistics, purchasing, and quality teams.
support physical audits and internal/external inventory reviews.
ensure adherence to fifo, fefo, or other inventory methodologies.
process improvement & compliance identify process gaps impacting material flow or inventory accuracy.
support continuous improvement initiatives (lean, kaizen, 5s).
key performance indicators (kpis) inventory accuracy (%) cycle count completion rate discrepancy resolution lead time production line stoppages related to material shortages audit findings related to inventory control qualifications technical skills strong knowledge of inventory management and cycle counting principles experience with erp/wms systems (sap, oracle, or similar) understanding of warehouse operations and material flow data analysis and reporting skills education & experience bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering, or relevant experience 2–5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or production support.
experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
