about the role:
we’re looking for a billing analyst to join landing! You’ll report to the billing team lead and play a key role in billing, collections, and account reconciliation while working closely with a team of analysts. This is the perfect role if you enjoy working with numbers, problem-solving with logic, and digging into the details to find the "needle in the haystack."
the role will evolve as you grow: you’ll start by mastering core processes such as appeasements and credits, then expand into reconciliations, audits, and variance analysis as you develop expertise. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

what you’ll do:
* reconcile member accounts to identify balances owed or due, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and property payouts
* process appeasements, refunds, and account credits with the proper approvals and documentation
* support management with billing audits, discrepancy resolution, and variance tracking
* partner with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex billing issues quickly and effectively
* respond to member billing inquiries (calls, emails, tickets) by providing clear breakdowns of statements and ensuring transparency
what you need:
* ability to work in-office (cdmx)
* availability m–f, 9am–6pm cst
* experience in billing or a related field (not necessarily an accountant, but comfortable working with numbers)
* strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
* solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency
* working knowledge of microsoft excel or google business suite using google sheets
* flexibility to work extended hours during critical periods, as necessary
