The position is highly technical and hands-on, focused on semantic modeling, sql-based data analysis, and power bi dataset development. The role is responsible for translating business requirements into scalable data models, ensuring data integrity, and enabling advanced analytics through robust bi solutions.your key responsibilities will include:- design, develop, and maintain power bi semantic models and datasets to support scalable and reliable reporting. - build and maintain dimensional data models (semantic layers) to ensure consistency and performance of bi assets. - plan and prioritizes enhancements to constantly improve engagement and usability of our products - develop and optimize sql queries to prepare and transform data for analytical use cases. - work closely with data engineers to onboard and integrate new data sources. - perform data validation and testing to ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity. - support the migration of bi assets from microstrategy to power bi, including model design and validation. - identify opportunities to improve data models, reporting performance, and analytical capabilities. - work cross-functionally to drive usage of the business intelligence assets (dashboards, self-serve sematic layer) through development and management of communication plan, webinars, /"how to guides/", newsletters etcwhat are we looking for?- degree in a field such as computer science, analytics, information systems, engineering, or related field. - 2-5 years of hands-on experience in business intelligence or data analytics roles. - advanced experience of analyzing sales performance data across multiple sources, and multiple relevant metrics experience working with data scientists in developing products. - ability to fluently converse in english and able to present effectively complex concepts and processes. - demonstrates strong analytic skills including the ability to synthesize information, discover trends, reduce complexity, and identify key opportunities.
