Key responsibilities:lead all aspects of plant safety, health and environmental compliance; ensure full adherence to policies, regulations and programs.promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership, daily inspections, hazard reduction and incident prevention.develop and implement high-performing quality systems ensuring conformance to specifications, certifications and customer requirements.improve defect rates, first pass yield and total cost of quality.maintain strong customer-focused execution including responsiveness and effective resolution of complaints.ensure production schedules, capacity and staffing are aligned with customer needs.deliver sustained improvements in on-time shipment, lead times and schedule adherence.drive process improvement, takt alignment and lean operating principles across relevant processes.meet annual performance targets through labor utilization, scrap reduction, yield improvement and material optimization.manage budgets, forecasts and capital investment planning in partnership with finance teams.oversee inventory accuracy, cycle count performance and material availability.develop and lead a strong team of supervisors, engineers and support staff; ensure proper staffing, coaching and performance management.requirements:bachelor's degree required; technical or engineering discipline preferred.formal training in process improvement methodologies preferred.8–10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations with a demonstrated track record of achieving strong operational results.experience working in a high-mix production environment strongly preferred.demonstrated success driving year-over-year cost improvements, quality performance and team engagement.proficiency in mrp/erp systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to lead cross-functional teams.ability to make sound decisions quickly, independently and in a fast-paced environmentexcellent written and verbal communication skillsability to motivate, coach and develop talent at all levels.skilled in budgeting, financial acumen and performance levershighly organized, dependable and ethical with strong follow-through and accountabilitywork environment:manufacturing environment – daily presence on plant floor utilizing required personal protective equipment.occasional office work.domestic travel required at times: 10 – 15%.additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
