Overviewthe human resource coordinator will be responsible for performing a wide range of day-to-day human resource functions including but not limited to recruitment, new-hire processing, terminations, workers' compensation audits and government compliance filings, leaves of absence and safety as well as answering general employee questions.principal duties and responsibilitiesduties for the human resource coordinator will include but not be limited to the following:recruiting at regional levelposts job openings internally and through external resources as neededassist with the use of recruiting agenciesresponsible for new hires and onboarding processcompletes and communicates background check results to hiring managersprepares new hire packets for the various company facilitiesmaintain files for all employeeswill be responsible for compiling reports for the hr directorcreate, edit and maintain job descriptionswill be responsible for the termination processsend termination information to internal employees as neededgathers all applicable documents for termination processreviews and responds to e.d.d. (employment development department) for unemployment filing complianceassist with processing leave of absence requests (fmla, pda) includingcoordinate employee's return-to-work datereview and respond to e.d.d. regarding disability claimsassist with workers’ compensation as neededprocesses various employee changes and verification of statusassist with the yearly performance appraisalsemployee benefit enrollment and application managementreview and process timecards in the time and attendance systemenrollment of new employees in the time and attendance systemissuing of employee id badges and managing updates to the employee badge systemassists employees and supervisors in completing various leave of absence requests and provides instruction on proper usage of various systemsprovide general assistance to employees with inquiries such as benefits, accessing hris applications, paystubs, etc.provide general administrative support to hr director by coordinating postings for career opportunities, updating job descriptions, and sorting applications and other duties as neededpayroll processing for different countries across the regionjob requirementseligible candidates will meet the following requirementsminimum of 3 years of experience as a human resources coordinatoradvanced proficiency in microsoft office programs, especially exceloutstanding communication, verbal and writtenunderstanding of full recruiting cycle processesadvanced english is requireddiscretion when working with confidential and sensitive informationdetail-oriented and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-stress environmentexcellent organizational skillscollege degree requiredability to work with the utmost integrity and professionalism at all times
