establish and drive procurement of material and services in alignment with business leadership for your assigned commodity / category and/or region as per annual operating plan and strategic plan.
you will have responsibility for driving competitive commodity and category supply strategies to achieve lowest total cost for your assigned category, best lead times possible and alignment to ottr/ottp, reduced working capital via negotiation planning and execution, high growth region sourcing, value engineering and sole/ single source elimination.
you will manage supplier performance to support your commodity/category and/or region and ensure supply continuity.
you will be managing several projects in a dynamic environment.
you will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, export /import regulations.
*key responsibilities*
- contracts buyouts msas and pricing sheets for specific buys
- develops and implements contracting (category) strategies for the acquisition of these services/products for our businesses/facilities.
- works with risk management, health, legal, safety and environmental, and global security leadership to establish minimum acceptable supplier qualifications from each of these disciplines.
supplant those criteria with additional commercial selection criteria.
- manage the vendor selection process for these services.
- utilize a library of agreement templates for buyouts with different contract methods employed.
- develops performance metrics to rate supplier performance.
- update, prepare and issue request for bid, quote, proposal, eauctions or information documents to qualified suppliers, conduct pre-proposal walkthrough conferences, transmit addenda, receive supplier offerings, prepare summaries, equalize offerings, negotiate clarifications, issue appropriate contracts.
- negotiate satisfactory terms and conditions with respective suppliers.
- complete contract approval summaries, executive summaries, and pay terms exception forms as required by honeywell policy
*you must have*
- bachelors degree
- 3-5 years in sourcing/category management/procurement
- proficient english
