about the role
field technicians at waterplan play a key role in bringing our technology into real customer environments.
this is a hands‐on, field‐based position for someone who enjoys working on‐site, following clear processes, and solving practical technical challenges with attention to detail.
you will be trained by waterplan and then expected to execute installations with increasing independence.
we are looking for someone reliable, adaptable, and comfortable traveling within their country as needed.

willingness to travel within the country
hands‐on technical experience in field roles
background in electronics, telecom, connectivity, networking, or technical installations
strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently after training
clear communication skills and a strong sense of ownership in field operations
nice to have
experience with on‐site equipment installation
experience in telecom, internet service providers, connectivity, or related industries
familiarity with customer‐facing field work
basic english for coordination with global teams
what you'll do
install waterplan kits and technical equipment on‐site
follow a standardized installation process with consistency and attention to detail
travel to customer sites within mexico
document installations clearly and accurately
troubleshoot and escalate technical issues when needed
provide field feedback to help improve installation workflows over time
