the ideal candidate will have experience in identifying and evaluating reliable suppliers, ensuring quality, compliance, and optimal delivery times.
they will be responsible for negotiating contracts, rates, and payment terms that guarantee competitiveness and efficiency for the operation.
in addition, this role requires developing and maintaining purchasing plans, tracking order status, and ensuring the timely replenishment of resources necessary for transportation operations.
we are looking for a professional with at least three years of experience in procurement, especially in transportation or line haul-related purchasing, with strong negotiation, supplier management, and problem-solving skills.
excellent communication, teamwork, and an advanced level of english are essential.
