responsibilities and qualifications
* minimum 5 years of backend development experience, preferably within the hedge fund or financial services industry
* strong passion for backend architecture and application development, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
* deep understanding of object-oriented programming, solid principles, and design patterns
* excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
mandatory skills
* c#, asp. Net core,. Net core, entity framework core
* building and optimizing high-load, high-performance, data-driven backend systems
* designing and implementing restful and soap-based web services
* experience with service-oriented architecture (soa)
nice-to-have skills
* exposure to java script/ui frameworks (e.g., angular, bootstrap, j query) is a plus but not required
* experience with portfolio and risk management systems (e.g., what-if analysis, scenario modeling, real-time pricing)
* familiarity with financial instruments (equities, derivatives, fixed income, etc.)
* strong grasp of rdbms concepts, data modeling, and database design
* practice of test-driven development (tdd) and performance profiling across the stack
