Monitor market trends, supply conditions, and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions. * * maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements related to chemical procurement. Create and update purchase orders using qad and sap.* * create internal reports in excel. Order samples for raw materials and track shipments.
- *supplier management & negotiation: *_* * establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing to optimize costs and service levels. Manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality, delivery, and sustainability standards. * * mitigate supply risks by developing alternative sources and ensuring continuity of supply.
- *inventory & cost control: *_* * * * collaborate with production, planning, and inventory teams to ensure optimal raw material stock levels. * * monitor inventory usage and coordinate with stakeholders to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- *track and report key procurement metrics, driving cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.compliance & documentation: *_* * ensure all purchases comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier agreements. Support audits and compliance reviews related to raw material sourcing.qualifications &

- bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, chemistry, or a related field. * *:
- * 2+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within the chemical, manufacturing, or industrial sector. *

- * knowledge of chemical raw materials, supply chain logistics, and global sourcing strategies. *
- familiarity with procurement software (qad, sap, erp systems) and microsoft office suite. * *:
- * ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. *
- ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.
- *experience with international sourcing and supplier management. * understanding of regulatory frameworks for chemical products in usa and mexico. * *:
- *professional certifications (cpsm, cips, or apics) are a plus but not essential.*
