We are a multinational company looking for a new marketing manager:
the marketing manager is accountable for driving sustainable growth, market share expansion, and profitability of the portfolio in mexico. This role acts as the business leader of the category within marketing, defining the mid to long term strategic roadmap (4-year horizon), ensuring strong portfolio management, optimized investment decisions, and the development of a high performing team aligned with company priorities.
key responsabilities:
drive sustainable sales growth and market share expansion across the portfolio.
develop and execute a 4-year strategic roadmap aligned with mexico's business priorities.
identify whitespace opportunities across channels, segments, and product lifecycle stages.
lead competitive strategy and differentiation plans.
build robust annual and long-term brand plans for core and launch products.
ensure effective product lifecycle management.
plan, develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to increase net sales and market share, with a minimum of 3 months' notice prior to each implementation date, ensuring clear value proposition and differentiated positioning.
adapt and tropicalize global strategies to maximize relevance and impact in the mexican market.
drive data-based decision making through crm, analyze campaign performance, sales data, and competitor activity to optimize roi.
lead opex planning and optimization to ensure maximum roi on marketing investment.
deliver reliable sales forecasts in collaboration with sales and supply chain.
prioritize initiatives based on impact, profitability, and strategic relevance.
partner closely with sales to ensure effective go-to-market execution and field adoption.
build strong relationships with key external stakeholders
build, develop, and lead a high-performance team.
requirements:
• bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering, or related fields.
• 8+ years of progressive marketing experience.
• proven track record of driving market share growth and delivering business results.
• experience managing significant marketing budgets.
• demonstrated experience leading and developing teams.
• strong strategic thinking, business acumen and ability to innovate and improve processes.
• demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems in complicated business situations.
• fluent spanish and english.
