as a senior consultant in the security incident response & remediation team, you will play a critical role in defending organizations against cyber threats and minimizing the impact of security incidents. In this position, you will lead the response to cyber-attacks, leveraging advanced tools and frameworks to detect, analyze, and contain threats. Your expertise will be essential in developing and executing mitigation strategies, as well as documenting best practices for preparedness and remediation. You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping teams strengthen their security posture and respond effectively to evolving threats.

* prepare and implement mitigation steps for a wide range of cyber-attacks and security incidents.
* utilize security tools and techniques such as siem, ids/ips, and threat intelligence platforms to detect, analyze, and respond to incidents.
* apply frameworks like mitre att&ck to assess threats and inform response strategies.
* document preparedness and remediation steps, ensuring clear guidance for future incidents.
* collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance incident response processes and capabilities.
* participate in post-incident reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

qualifications
required
* bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field.
* 4+ years of experience in security incident response or related roles.
* proficiency with security tools (siem, ids/ips, threat intelligence platforms).
* strong understanding of the mitre att&ck framework and its application.
preferred
* excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
* relevant certifications (e.g., gcih, cissp, ceh) are a plus.
