Jr. Web developer (supplier portal) role at carrier climate solutions transportation
role overview
carrier is looking for a junior web developer who is a skilled computer coding professional with fluency in languages such as html, javascript, css, and sql databases. Experience in low code - no code platform is required. The responsibilities include design, development, debugging, deployment and support of applications that provide value to the company. The candidate must be able to propose solutions based on requirements specified by the product owner and business analysts, always taking care of aspects of development such as quality, performance, scalability, reusability, and innovation using agile framework. Candidate must be willing to act as on-call support to attend urgent issues during off-hours on a rotational schedule. This role will report to the manager of digital factory connected supply chain
main responsibilities
designing and building solutions in outsystems platform (low-code/no-code).
Work in agile teams.
Devops management of continuous delivery continuous deployment.
Create reports and technical documentation.
Provide user support via tickets (servicenow).
Skills & abilities
communication skills: excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively communicate with stakeholders, team members, and clients.
Problem-solving and decision-making: excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to overcome any obstacles and make strategic decisions that impact the project.
Technical knowledge: technical expertise in software development, integrations, infrastructure and data base.
Must-have requirements
able to have fluent english conversations (b2 equivalent).
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Available to rotateshifts(am: 7:00–16:00, pm: 10:00–19:00)
experience in development, analysis, and deployment of web applications.
Experience with low-code/no-code platforms.
Good understanding of scrum, lean and other agile techniques.
Experience creating and consuming apis.
Proficient in sql queries (joins, stored procedures, views, etc).
Proficient in javascript.
Requirement analysis and focused on details.
Preferred requirements
basic experience in outsystems platform development.
Knowledge of object-oriented languages .net, java, python (certification preferred).
Good understanding ofservice-oriented architectures (soa).
