About the opportunity
as a senior account manager, you will lead business results across central america and south america. This includes achieving sales volume growth, staying within budget, and expanding market share.
this role involves being the primary contact with customers and collaborating internally to develop long-term plans based on insights, impact shelving/distribution modifications, and execute pricing/promotion tactics to drive goal delivery.
key responsibilities:
* drive profitable sales and market share growth aligned with sales plan objectives.
* be the main point of contact for daily business operations matters.
* work with retail and e-commerce accounts to understand the drivers of sales within their platforms, including content to build and execute an effective joint business plan.
* maintain a working knowledge of external market factors, such as competitive information, technology trends, retailer initiatives, pricing etc., to inform account decisions and product recommendations that grow the business.
* collaborate with internal and external peers globally to share and apply best practices for maximizing sales, managing relationships, reporting, driving supply chain efficiencies, and other business aspects.
requirements:
* 5+ years of experience selling consumer products.
* 5+ years of experience managing distributors across latin america.
* demonstrate ability to develop collaborative relationships with management in national accounts, and across internal cross-functional departments.
* proven experience in financial and analytical work to manage account profitability and investments.
* omnichannel experience is highly desired.
* experience in marketing and product management in consumer products is highly desired.
