We are seeking a forward-thinking director of information technology to lead our it department and modernize our enterprise architecture. In this role, you will oversee traditional it infrastructure while spearheading our internal ai initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in enterprise data management and proven experience building and deploying autonomous ai agents to optimize complex business processes and streamline administrative workflows.
qualifications
required:
* education: bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, data science, or a related field.
* general it experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in it operations and enterprise systems management, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role managing budgets and teams.
* ai & automation expertise: demonstrable practical experience overseeing the architecture and deployment of ai agents, rag (retrieval-augmented generation) pipelines, or large language models specifically for business process automation (bpa).
* data management skills: deep understanding of enterprise data architecture, data warehousing, etl pipelines, and modern data governance practices.
* technical stack: familiarity with modern ai/automation stacks (e.g., langchain, python, microsoft copilot studio), cloud platforms, and leading erp systems (e.g., sap, netsuite, microsoft dynamics).
* leadership: exceptional ability to translate complex ai and data concepts to non-technical stakeholders and business executives.
* english: business-advanced
preferred:
* master's degree or mba.

key responsibilities
ai strategy & business process optimization
* lead the strategy, design, and deployment of intelligent ai agents and llm-powered tools to automate and optimize enterprise workflows (e.g., supply chain logistics, procurement, hr processes, and financial reporting).
* partner with department heads across the business to identify operational bottlenecks and implement ai-driven solutions that reduce manual data entry and improve cross-functional efficiency.
* oversee the integration of ai agents with existing enterprise systems (erp, crm, hris) to create seamless, automated business processes.
enterprise data management & governance
* architect and implement intelligent data management systems, utilizing ai to organize, classify, and maintain high data quality across the organization.
* break down data silos by designing unified data lakes/warehouses that bring together corporate business data and agricultural operational data for advanced reporting and analytics.
* establish and enforce robust data governance, privacy policies, and compliance standards, ensuring corporate and employee data is secure and properly managed.
strategic leadership & infrastructure
* develop an overarching it roadmap that aligns with the company's business objectives, focusing on scalability, automation, and data democratization.
* oversee the deployment, maintenance, and security of a modern, cloud-first it environment (e.g., aws, azure, gcp), networks, and corporate hardware.
* manage the annual it budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and a high roi on technology and ai investments.
infrastructure & security
* oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and upgrade of all it systems, including servers, networks, cloud infrastructure (e.g., aws, azure), and software applications.
* design and enforce robust cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and best practices to protect company data and mitigate risk.
* develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure zero downtime and data integrity.
team leadership & vendor management
* recruit, mentor, and manage a diverse technology team spanning it administration, data engineering, and ai/software development.
* establish clear performance kpis, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, technological exploration, and customer service excellence.
* manage relationships with enterprise software vendors, managed service providers (msps), and ai platform partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring slas are met.
