about the role

dnv is seeking a client service specialist.

this role will be serving our business assurance team.

this role will be based out of our dnv mexico city office.

what you’ll do


* manage client projects from contract signing to accounts receivable, ensuring smooth execution.
* provide a high level of customer service to meet client expectations.
* oversee internal coordination and project outcomes, efficiently handling internal and external client requests.
* communicate directly with clients to address concerns and provide tailored solutions.
* ensure data quality and adherence to timelines in compliance with scheme requirements, dnv's icp, and internal kpis.
* coordinate planning efforts between auditors and clients, maintaining audit timing windows.
* review audit data and update multi-system databases to reflect certification changes.
* consistently meet key kpis related to scheduling, planning, response times, and reporting.
* collaborate with sales, technical teams, and auditors to deliver a superior customer experience.
* ensure timely delivery of certificates.
* support invoicing and collections processes when needed.
* follow procedures, rules, and regulations to assist with scheduling and planning operations.
* maintain ongoing communication with clients to confirm service and support schedules.
* assist in qualification and competence-building initiatives to expand the resource pool.
* prepare and deliver measurement reports as required.
* perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
* monitor performance indicators to ensure customer requirements are met.

about you

what is required:

* bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration or a relevant field.
* minimum of 3 years of customer service experience.
* ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple competing tasks and demands.
* at least two years of experience in sales support or post-sales commercial activities.
* proficiency in microsoft office suite (excel, word, outlook, powerpoint).
* demonstrated eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
* strong teamwork skills, with a willingness to support and help others succeed.
* a proactive attitude, with a sense of urgency and a “can do” mindset.
* strong written and verbal english communication skills.
* we conduct pre-employment background screening.

what is preferred

* 1 year of experience related to iso 9001, iso 14001, and/or iso 45001.
* ability to read and interpret audit protocols and work instructions.
* strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders.
* proven ability to drive results independently across functions, geographies, and stakeholder groups.
* experience working in a client management environment.
