*job summary*:
we are looking for a *purchasing manager* to oversee and manage the full procurement function at our mexico production base.
this role is critical to establishing a robust and efficient materials supply system aligned with the company's global standards.
*key responsibilities*:
- lead the development, evaluation, and management of suppliers for required materials.
- oversee the procurement cycle including price inquiries, order placement, and delivery follow-up.
- build and implement the materials supply system tailored to local operations.
- develop and maintain procurement and operational management processes.
- ensure cost-effective purchasing practices while maintaining high-quality standards.
- collaborate closely with production, logistics, and finance teams.
*requirements*:
- bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or related field.
- proven experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in manufacturing.
- advanced english proficiency (spoken and written).
- excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- strong knowledge of local and international suppliers is a plus.
