the key responsibilities of this role include:
* leading the rooms team: championing the brand's service vision, communicating clear goals, making strategic decisions, and monitoring room rates and promotions.
* managing profitability: analyzing service issues, identifying trends, working with the rooms team to develop operational strategies aligned with the brand's business objectives, reviewing and auditing expenses.
* managing revenue goals: monitoring rooms operations sales performance against budget, reviewing reports and financial statements, coaching and supporting the operations team to effectively manage occupancy and rate, wages, and controllable expenses.
* ensuring exceptional customer service: demonstrating key drivers of guest satisfaction, delivering excellent customer service, responding to guest problems and complaints, interacting with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
to be successful in this role, the candidate will need to possess:
* a 2-year degree in business administration, hotel and restaurant management, or a related major, and 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales, and marketing, or a related professional area, or a 4-year bachelor's degree in business administration, hotel and restaurant management, or a related major, and 2 years of experience in the same areas.
* strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team of professionals.
