depending on your role, you’ll support individuals in a variety of settings:
residential services
supporting people in their own apartments within our campus, promoting independence and community engagement.
day opportunities centre
working in a purpose-built environment with sensory areas, creative spaces and accessible facilities.
community outreach
helping people live independently in their own homes and stay connected within their communities.

what you’ll be doing
this is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You may:
9. support with personal care, medication and mealtimes
10. encourage participation in activities such as arts, music, baking, sports, cinema trips and more
11. help individuals build confidence and independence
12. provide both one-to-one and group support
13. follow and contribute to person-centred care plans
14. maintain accurate records and report any changes
we actively encourage staff to bring their own interests into the role your hobbies and skills can help create meaningful experiences for the people we support.
about you
you may already have experience in:
15. social care, residential or community-based support
16. supporting individuals with autism, brain or spinal injuries, epilepsy, cerebral palsy or similar needs
17. personal care and medication support
18. facilitating activities and community engagement
19. person-centred planning and documentation
desirable (not essential):
20. knowledge of aac or makaton
21. driving licence (for roles involving adapted vehicles — travel costs covered)
22. svq qualification or sssc registration (we can support you to achieve these)

flexibility & working hours
we offer flexible working patterns and will aim to match roles to your availability:
23. contracts from relief/bank up to 37 hours per week
24. day service hours typically monday–friday, 9:30am – 3:30pm
25. residential and outreach roles include day, back and night shifts
26. rolling rotas provided in advance to support work-life balance
