- configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and it/ot networking platforms.
- monitor network performance, capacity, and availability to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- develop, document, and enforce network policies, standards, and procedures across all locations.
- manage and support on-premises server infrastructure, including dell servers and enterprise storage systems.
- administer and maintain virtualization platforms such as hyper-v or equivalent technologies.
- implement and manage veeam backup & replication, ensuring reliable backup operations, disaster recovery readiness, and regular backup verification.
- deploy, configure, and maintain fortinet security solutions, including fortigate, forti manager, and forti analyzer.
- manage vpn connectivity, firewall policies, and secure remote access.
- implement network security best practices, including segmentation and monitoring.
- support the integration of legacy manufacturing equipment with modern networking infrastructure.
- collaborate with operations teams to maintain stable and secure production network environments.
estudios / formación
*qualifications*
- bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field is an asset.
- industry certifications such as ccna, ccnp, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- 5 years of progressive hands-on experience in it infrastructure and networking.
- advance english.
- manufacturing/ automotive/ aviations industry experience.
