LOGISTICS ANALYST II

Job Overview
Provides analytic support on the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting.

Job Requirements

- Preparing monthly reports on operational and financial metrics.
- Monitoring performance of all carriers in a supply stream. Addressing issues and interfacing with carriers to maintain expected levels of service.
- Optimizing process flows to track lead-time by activity and identifying opportunities to reduce lead times.
- Creating and implementing ground, air and/or ocean freight transports, and warehousing in support of a product supply chain.

What your background should look like

Experiencia:

- Licenciatura y/o Ingeniería.
- Experiencia en inspección de recibo y/o en sistema de TEConnectivity.
- Interpretación de dibujos (indispensable).
- Habilidad para seguimiento de estándares de calidad.
- Conocimiento de equipos de medición, vernier, micrómetro, indicador de altura, ROI, Keyence, comprador óptico, pull / push, etc.
- Observar, monitorear, anticipar, detector y comunicar situaciones donde requiera asistencia para resolverla.
- Habilidad para ejecutar diferentes tareas y asignaciones simultáneamente, enfocándose en cumplir con el objetivo de manera segura y correcta.
- Flexibilidad en horario (rotar turnos) y jornada de trabajo para cubrir tiempo extra, con notificación fortuita cuando así lo requieran las circunstancias del negocio, incluyendo fines de semana, en apego a la ley y reglamento de trabajo.
- Habilidades de trabajo en equipo.
- Ingles básico

Responsabilidades

- Auditar y disposición de material que se está recibiendo.
- Generar planes de inspección.
- Generar reportes dimensionales (FAI).
- Generar reportes de rechazo.
- Inspecciones de materiales.
- Identificación apropiada de materiales (aceptados / rechazados).
- Control y seguimiento de materiales detenidos (área de MRB).
- Realiza tareas especiales como lo indique el Supervisor / Ingeniero de calidad y mejora continua.
- Promueve y participa en la creación de seguridad, incluso en los programas de bienestar para los empleados, tales como ergonomía, ejercicios de calentamiento, etc.

Ayer

TE Connectivity's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for the plans, schedules, and monitoring of the movement of material through the production cycle. They determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis. The Team develops specifications for new contract orders as well as forecasts and plans for labor requirements. They provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and may be asked to participate in higher level supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team. They also monitor cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.

Tasks Summary, responsibilities and authority:

- Evaluate Planned Orders to create suitable productions schedules.
- Estimate the amount of material to be used in the production schedule (Clear-to-build).
- Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production.
- Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottleneck in usage.
- Monitoring and creation of deliveries per Customer needs (Customer Requested Date).
- Notify Sales & Customer Service teams of any schedule impacts to customers.
- Identify strategies to take care of Ship-to-Request metrics per deliveries creation.
- Develop inventory targets and manage production to achieve targeted inventory levels on both a cost and unit basis.
- Maintain finished goods inventory at target levels to ensure high service levels.
- Monitor actual output versus the Master Production Plan.
- Review past due orders to determine most effective action-reschedule.
- Monitors rejected/reworked materials and coordinates replacement needs working with Quality, supplier quality, and manufacturing as needed
- Timely reporting of key metrics (Past Due & Ship-to-Request)
- Aid VSM and Materials Manager in achievement of performance targets, including delivery, inventory, and cost avoidance/cost reduction.
- Serve as cross functional liaison to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Support the Lean Production initiatives to ensure assigned tasks are accomplished

What your background should look like:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or related engineering discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience as Planner/ Production Scheduler.
- Experience working in automotive plants.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Expertise in SAP R/3, MS Excel, Power Point.
- Strong analytical and organization skills. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to reason and influence at all levels.

Logistics Analyst Ii (Quality)

Sigue todos los procedimientos del centro de distribución y demuestra una comprensión de los estándares y objetivos para lograr la satisfacción total de clientes internos y externos. Responsable de conocer la Política de Calidad de TE Connectivity y fomentar una cultura de mejora continua y de calidad en todas las áreas.

Responsabilidades y autoridad

- Implementación de herramientas de mejora continua (Lean Manufacturing) tales como 5´s, fabrica visual, Process improvement Management, TPM, Mistakeproofing, entre otras
- Documentar estándares de trabajo administrativo de calidad y operativo
- Experiência en uso de herramientas de causa raíz como Ishikawa, 5 why´s, 8D
- Evalúa y ayuda a iniciar propuestas de mejora en los procesos del centro de distribución.
- Realiza tareas especiales como lo indique el Supervisor de calidad y mejora continua.
- Mantener en control y organizado el inventario de hold.
- Realizar contenciones para las unidades de negocio a las que brindamos servicio
- Seguimiento a Quejas de cliente internas del DC y de las unidades de negocio, brindar soluciones y una experiencia extraordinaria.
- Generación de CofC de los embarques diarios y correcciones cuando sean requeridas
- Solucionar y atender problemas con embarques por etiquetas especiales de cliente.
- Aplicar bloqueos especiales de calidad por contenciones y reportes, así como desbloquear una vez verificada las especificaciones
- Recibo de material terminado HL20/HLQA y RMA’s
- Seguimiento de herramientas de calidad como Fast Response, LPA y QMS

- Carrera Profesional Terminada
- 1-2 años de experiencia en procesos calidad, logísticos y/o de manufactura
- Conocimientos Específicos y habilidades
- Conocimiento de SAP
- Inglés conversacional
- Conocimiento de Lean Six Sigma
- Excel Avanzado/PBI
- Problem Solving 8D´s
- Dominio de análisis de causa raíz para problemas de operaciones
- Manejo de paquetería office.
- Comunicarse de manera articulada con Superiores y Asociados de Logística.
