We are looking for a highly organized and customer-oriented customer service dispatcher to coordinate and dispatch service personnel or technicians in response to customer inquiries, service calls, or appointments. This role bridges the gap between customer service and field operations, ensuring that customer needs are met efficiently and professionally.
key responsibilities
* receive and respond to incoming service requests via phone, email, or internal systems.
* receive incoming claims or service requests from adjusters, call center representatives, or policyholders
* communicate clearly with customers regarding appointment times, delays, and service expectations.
* monitor the progress of service calls and update customers on the status as needed.
* maintain accurate records of all service requests, dispatches, and outcomes in the system.
* collaborate with claims and customer service teams to ensure timely and satisfactory service delivery.
* resolve or escalate customer issues promptly and professionally.
* ensure field staff have the correct information and resources needed to complete jobs.
* manage last-minute scheduling changes or emergency service requests.
qualifications
* high school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or customer service certifications are a plus.
* 1–3 years of experience in dispatch, scheduling, or customer service roles.
* strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve issues quickly.
* excellent organizational and time management abilities.
* proficient in customer service or dispatch software (e.g., servicetitan, salesforce, zendesk, fieldedge).
* strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
