what will you do?
implement and maintain a safe work environment by promoting a culture of accident prevention.
design and validate manufacturing processes and production cells.
calculate and control optimal capacities for production lines.
create technical documentation, including work sheets and process specifications.
monitor and improve existing manufacturing methods and welding technologies.
conduct inspections and support in the qualification of welders.
facilitate cross-functional collaboration to implement lean manufacturing principles.
how will you do it?
you will utilize your technical knowledge of various welding processes, including gtaw, gmaw, and fcaw, to develop welding procedure specifications (wps) and procedure qualification records (pqr).
you will work collaboratively with teams to identify best practices and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
your role will also include evaluating production layouts and overseeing the training of junior staff.
what are we looking for?
bachelor's degree in welding engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
+3 years of experience in welding engineering or a related field.
valid welding certifications (gmaw, smaw) in all positions.
proficiency in blueprint reading and welding symbols.
excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environments.
