Mission:as part of our dedicated services team, your mission will be to perform on-site maintenance and optimization of building management systems (bms) with a strong focus on energy efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will help redefine industry standards by challenging conventional approaches and driving innovation in building automation.key responsibilities:perform both condition-based and planned preventive maintenance (ppm) on schneider electric bms systems across a key customer portfolio in the devon and cornwall region.identify and implement energy efficiency improvements and enhance user experience through system optimization.troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, including participation in an on-call rota for out-of-hours support.ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation and internal policies.deliver detailed technical reports that provide insights and added value to our customers.skills and attributes:proficient in software fault finding and diagnostics in systems such as bms, plcs, scada, automated control systems, web services, or cloud-based platforms.understanding of hvac systems and building automation (preferred, but not essential—training provided).strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning and sharing best practices.familiarity with electrical circuits and technical drawings (desirable).knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (desirable).basic understanding of it systems, including ip addressing and port configuration (desirable).high regard for health, safety, and sustainability practices.proficiency in microsoft office tools (outlook, word, excel).strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.education and qualifications:degree or technical qualification in an engineering discipline (preferably electrical, but not essential).motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn and grow within a high-performing team.what we offer:a meaningful career with a global leader in energy management and automation.comprehensive training and development programs.competitive salary and benefits.a supportive, inclusive, and innovative work environment.
