Main purpose position title: fpp derivatives sr. Analyst reports to position title (optional): fpp derivatives head business group: remote work: yes scope: regional country and location: méxico role level/grade (suggested by the people team or total rewards lead): tbd functional area: finance the fp&p sr. Analysts is responsible for providing to senior management with the analysis and information they need to make major operational, financial, and strategic decisions. Coordinate & prepare the annual budget and monthly forecast of the legal entity. Monitoring and analyzing financial kpis to provide visibility business performance. Realize the consolidation of the financial information by plant & bu. 2. Key responsibilities (briefly describe the most important aspects of the job; no more than 10 ) monitoring and analyzing financial kpis to provide visibility business performance. Coordinate and elaborate budget and forecast for the legal entity / upload in sac. Prepares monthly status reports. Make presentations to show the financial evolution of the company / bu´s. Preparation of cash flow statement by legal entity variations analysis vs budget (drill down analysis & seek explanations with team members) margin analysis (financial / profitability analysis) financial analysis: cost, expenses, freights, nwc improve the financial analysis process: initiatives & implementation add value reports back up for the capex information 3. Complexity of the job presenting information for use by senior management team to facilitate discussion around business unit performance. Ability to work with and consolidate data from multiple sources to ensure timely reporting and analysis. Coordination with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams in different time-zones to obtain data to be able to evaluate the performance of different businesses dimensions. Education, experience, language, & physical requirements (to perform satisfactorily in this job what type of knowledge and experience is required?) Academic level: bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting language(s) and level of proficiency: spanish – native english – intermediate/advanced experience: strong experience in finance / accounting / business reporting / cost analysis / ifrs minimum experience of 3 years in large manufacturing companies. Proficient in data entry, with knowledge of excel. Experience in general accounting and finance. Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge: intellectually curious individual with the ability to support analytical reasoning with data. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills able to handle complex matters with multiple initiatives. Ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing business environment including working under pressure. Ability to work well in a multicultural team environment. Executive communication skills (written and verbal) able to work with teams located in global time-zones. Proficiency in key ms office applications with advanced excel skills familiarity with reporting tools such as sap analytics cloud, cfin and power bi is preferred.
