Overview
your job as an inventory control superintendent, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and flow of materials across multiple warehouses. You will lead inventory and warehouse strategies that enable uninterrupted production, operational excellence, and strong collaboration across the supply chain, while developing and empowering a high-performing team.
our team you will be part of the global shared plants (gsp) organization, working closely with materials, planning, production, logistics, finance, and purchasing teams. This role partners with internal stakeholders to ensure inventory accuracy, service reliability, and continuous improvement across warehouse operations.
what you will do
* lead and optimize inventory and warehouse strategies across multiple warehouse locations to ensure smooth material flow and operational excellence.
* drive inventory accuracy through effective cycle counts, system transactions, and strong inventory control disciplines.
* develop and implement meaningful metrics to monitor warehouse performance, productivity, and space utilization.
* enable on-time material availability for production through efficient internal logistics models such as kanban, two-bin systems, and reorder point strategies.
* collaborate cross-functionally to resolve material discrepancies, support urgent requirements, and mitigate risks to the production plan.
* build, coach, and develop warehouse and inventory teams, fostering a culture of ownership, safety, and continuous improvement.
* ensure warehouse operations align with company policies, safety standards, and long-term business vision.
who you are (basic qualifications)
* bachelor’s degree required.
* minimum of 10 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or materials management roles.
* proven leadership experience managing supervisors and operational teams.
* strong knowledge of warehouse management processes, inventory control, and best practices.
* hands-on experience with warehouse management systems, erp platforms, and data analysis tools.

* engineering degree or advanced education.
* experience in production control and/or planning functions.
* advanced proficiency in sap or other erp systems.
* strong excel skills for data analysis (e.g., vlookup, sumproduct, sumif).
* lean, visual management, and continuous improvement knowledge.
* advanced english proficiency (spoken and written).
