responsibilities
position will be responsible for coordinating with all parties involved in the operation the correct dispatch and delivery of maritime containers to all our warehouses and gm plants in mexico, having direct contact with customs agents, carriers, and other business partners.
Provides support of one of the key areas within logistics and/or containers to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product, and financial initiatives.
Communicates within the function as well as with other functions, external affiliates, and regulatory agencies.
Supports and manages relationships with logistics suppliers and service providers.
Influences others within the organization to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
Identifies problems and updates or modifies work methods that may be complex in the work area without the benefit of defined procedures.
Promotes gm's values and makes customer‑focused decisions.
Removes roadblocks and resolves potential issues/complaints by observing and stepping up as needed.
Qualifications
business management, logistics, or related background.
Knowledge of sap, power bi, and mgo.
Advanced english proficiency.
