Assure implementation of change engineering for a vehicle series and life time supply (lts), including production monitoring. Principle activities support the strategic planning of the department/unit (abteilung/fachbereich) by breaking down or developing the strategic planning for the group, within a short or medium-range time frame. Plan and administer the budget in his/her area of responsibility in cooperation with the supervisor and make sure there is compliance with it. Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to associates that report to him/her; make personnel decisions in cooperation with the hr department and the supervisor. Support assurance of all functions in his/her area of responsibility: if applicable implement measures in the event of deviations. Manage projects within plant. Cooperate in identifying and developing suggestions for improvement (e.g. with regard to processes; equipment; it-systems, etc.); implement the actions determined. Assure delivery fulfillment and quality by the efficient use of machinery, material and equipment; according to the criteria of production planning/control and characteristics. Implement safety, health and environmental protection regulations as part of legislation. Coordinate with the departments necessary production capacities and resources (e.g. infrastructure, machinery, tools and materials, etc.). Cooperate in planning the type and amount of equipment and in coordinating the design form and its approval. Coordinate changes and their implementation dates, taking into consideration the manufacturability and optimum cost, excluding avoidable production interruptions at drx and customer. Coordinate and specify relevant planning milestones with the departments/within the teams. Coordinate release data; cooperate in determining the testing and approval scope.
