Job summary what a typical day looks like: develop and deploy simulation models (flexsim, plant simulation) for new product lines and existing operations to evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes, capacity, and line balancing.
collaborate with global and local teams on simulation-driven decisions for npi readiness and line configuration.
use lean and six sigma methodologies to improve process efficiency and reduce waste.
conduct work measurement studies and analyze data to establish labor standards and define equipment utilization.
support factory layout design and define optimal workstations using autocad or similar tools.
evaluate and recommend improvements to workflows, material handling, and space utilization.
maintain simulation libraries and continuously improve model accuracy and usability.
create and maintain technical documentation, dashboards, reports, and sharepoint content for stakeholders.
lead or participate in global assessments and technical calls to ensure data alignment and readiness.
support standardization efforts, pre-assessment reviews, and project implementation across global sites.
ensure simulations are integrated effectively with existing flex systems and operational tools.
