we are looking for an experienced soc verification engineer with a passion for solving complex problems and a drive for innovation. With at least 8 years of hands-on verification experience, you thrive in environments that challenge your technical acumen and leadership abilities. Your expertise spans uvm methodology, systemverilog, and advanced scripting, allowing you to conceptualize, plan, and execute sophisticated test environments that uncover even the most elusive design bugs.
you are an enthusiastic collaborator who mentors others and guides junior engineers toward technical excellence. You understand digital design and modern verification flows, and you adapt quickly to emerging technologies and protocols such as pcie, ddr4, and amba to ensure project success and product integrity.
what you’ll be doing
* analyzing complex soc specifications and architecting comprehensive verification strategies.
* designing, developing, and maintaining advanced uvm-based test benches for integrated ip subsystems.
* executing pre-silicon verification tasks, including coverage analysis, debugging, and regression testing.
* leading verification efforts for subsystems, features, and flows, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
* collaborating with design, validation, and emulation teams to resolve issues creatively and efficiently.
* mentoring junior engineers, sharing best practices, and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
* utilizing tools such as synopsys vcs and verdi to streamline verification processes and improve productivity.
the impact you will have
* accelerate time-to-market for cutting-edge silicon solutions by ensuring robust verification coverage.
* enhance product reliability and performance through rigorous test planning and execution.
* drive innovation in verification methodologies and flows, setting new industry standards.
* empower cross-functional teams through effective leadership and technical guidance.
* contribute to the development of next-generation technology platforms in ai, automotive, and iot.
* establish synopsys as a leader in verification excellence, enabling customer success globally.
what you’ll need
* bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, computer engineering, computer science, or related field.
* 8+ years of experience verifying soc devices, with at least 6 years dedicated to pre-silicon verification.
* expertise in uvm methodology-based verification and proficiency in systemverilog, hdl, and scripting languages (perl, python).
* strong understanding of standard protocols (pcie, ddr4, gddr, hbm, amba); knowledge of formal and power-aware verification is a plus.
* experience with design validation using emulation, haps, or fpga prototyping systems from rtl design is highly desirable.
* hands-on experience with synopsys verification tools (vcs, verdi) and modern verification flows.
who you are
* analytical thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving.
* effective communicator, both written and verbal, able to articulate complex concepts clearly.
* proactive team player who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
* natural mentor and leader, passionate about coaching and developing talent.
