As AI Software Intern, you will be mentored by a Sr. Engineer in the importance and best practices of SW development.
- You will be contributing to the validation of AI Analytics toolkit that gives data scientists, AI developers, and researchers familiar Python tools and frameworks to accelerate end-to-end data science and analytics pipelines on Intel architecture.
- You will be coding on Python, using containers, and working with AI workflows.
**Qualifications**:** Minimum Qualifications,**
you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position**:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, or any related STEM field (At least 1 year remaining as an active student).
- 6+ months of programming experience in Python.
- 6+ months of experience working in a Linux environment (Command Line Interface (CLI)).
- 3+ months of experience with AI related frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc).
- Intermediate to Advanced English level.
- 30+ hours per week availability.
- The position is in Mexico, it is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship.
**Preferred Qualifications,**
- Experience with Containers, Dockers, GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins, CI/CD.
- Python Package Managers: Conda, PIP, etc.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
