position: hr generalist
we are a leading independent global professional services firm specializing in turnaround management, restructuring, performance improvement, and corporate advisory services. We are currently seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and people-focused hr generalist to join our team in mexico city.
key responsibilities
hr administration
* maintain and update employee records and documentation.
* administer employee benefits and liaise with external providers.
* provide day-to-day support to employees on hr-related matters.
health, safety & compliance
* monitor compliance with workplace safety, health, and fire regulations.
* support emergency preparedness and ensure training certifications are current.
recruitment
* assist in full-cycle recruitment, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
* support employer branding and internal referral initiatives.
* oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
* coordinate with internal departments (it, facilities, payroll) to ensure all tools and systems are ready on day 1.
* deliver onboarding sessions and provide orientation on company policies and culture.
* monitor completion of required documentation and training during the onboarding period.
learning & development (l&d) support
* coordinate training sessions, both internal and external.
* track and maintain employee training records and compliance courses.
* support performance review cycles and individual development plans.
qualifications
* minimum 2-3 years of experience in human resources roles.
* intermediate-advanced english (written and spoken) is required.
* strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
* proficient in microsoft office; experience with hris tools is a plus.
* discreet, proactive, and resourceful when dealing with sensitive matters.
* familiarity with local labor laws and compliance standards is desirable.
