Overview
wonderful citrus is seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical production planning supervisor to support our import operations during the upcoming season. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient production planning by balancing inventory, customer demand, and operational capacity.
responsibilities
* analyze inventory levels, incoming supply (imports), and customer orders to support production planning.
* build and adjust daily and weekly production plans based on demand and operational capacity.
* monitor production performance and make real‑time adjustments as conditions change.
* coordinate closely with operations teams to ensure plans are aligned with plant capabilities and constraints.
* use internal planning tools (excel‑based) to translate data into actionable production plans.
* identify gaps, risks, or inefficiencies and propose solutions to maintain service levels.
* support continuous updates to planning assumptions based on actual production results.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field.
* experience in planning, supply chain, operations, or a similar analytical role.
* advanced english proficiency.
* strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* proficiency in excel.
* basic math skills and ability to understand operational calculations.
* ability to work in a fast‑paced, changing environment with a high sense of urgency.
* strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
