Your positionmolex is seeking an npi manager to lead new product introduction (npi) projects within the connectivity and optoelectronics business. In this role, you will guide cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of new products, from development through to full-scale production. You will also be accountable for the project's financial performance (p&l) and serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external customers.our teamat molex, our goal is to create value for others. * oversee all npi activities, including coordination of fiber optic and connectivity projects, supporting cost estimation, and developing automated manufacturing solutions.
* plan and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies, driving improvements in both current and future production lines.
* manage end-to-end product launch projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and requirements.
* facilitate effective communication among customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
* foster collaboration across quality, engineering, operations, automation, and support areas to ensure smooth project integration.
* stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best manufacturing practices to strengthen the capabilities of the connectivity business.
* identify and mitigate safety risks by integrating necessary requirements into manufacturing processes.who you are (basic qualifications)- bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electronics, mechatronics, industrial, or related fields).
* advanced english proficiency (spoken and written).
* knowledge of fiber optic products/processes, materials, and related technologies.
* experience in project management and/or engineering systems.
* demonstrated leadership experience in manufacturing environments.
* solid understanding of manufacturing processes and project management methodologies.what will put you ahead- proven experience in developing automated processes, validation, process control, and continuous improvement.
