Fp&a & marketing finance analyst
we are seeking an fp&a & marketing finance analyst to act as a critical bridge between financial data integrity and marketing strategy at bacardi.
responsibilities
* business partnering: act as the financial point of contact for marketing and commercial teams to support brand investments, projects, and market opportunities.
* reporting & analysis: perform deep-dive analysis of financial data and prepare monthly performance reports focused on kpis.
* budget control & forecasting: support the monthly forecast process and the annual planning cycle.
* financial integrity & reconciliation: execute precise financial reconciliations and ensure data consistency across systems.
* month‐end support: participate in the monthly closing process and record marketing and structure investment expenses.
* process documentation: maintain and improve documentation of financial processes and reporting standards.
skills & experience
* analytical: ability to translate raw numbers into strategic insights and handle large datasets.
* business acumen: understanding of consumer industry dynamics and marketing levers that impact the p&l.
* collaborative spirit: build strong relationships with non‐finance partners.
* agility & resilience: work under pressure during closing/forecasting cycles.
* challenge the status quo: automate reports and improve financial processes.
* communication: explain complex financial concepts to non‐financial stakeholders.
personal qualities & requirements
* experience: 1–3 years in finance roles (fp&a, commercial finance, or marketing finance).
* technical proficiency: advanced mastery of excel; experience with sap and power bi or similar visualization tools.
* education: bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or engineering.
* languages: spanish and english.
* mindset: detail‐oriented, organized, and eager to learn about the spirits industry.
