This position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory) In this role, you will develop, plan, and implement procurement strategies focused on optimizing costs, quality, delivery, and supplier reliability for an assigned category or group of categories. You will ensure execution aligns with company, procurement, and supply base management procedures. Additionally, you will recommend frame agreements to management and execute upon approval.

This role contributes to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo León.
You will be mainly accountable for: Leveraging the Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing to implement effective sourcing strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring suppliers can meet current and future requirements.
Managing procurement activities, cost budgets, country spending, and savings forecasts.
Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, renewing price lists, and terms periodically.
Identifying, investigating, and selecting suitable suppliers based on quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability, following company policies.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory) Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering fields.
5+ years of experience in indirect material purchasing roles.
Previous experience with indirect material suppliers.
Experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
Focus on supplier searches and quotations.
Focus on internal customer service.
Experience purchasing packaging, pallets, and cardboard.
Proficiency in English.
Experience with SAP Ariba and Microsoft Office.
