ensure the accomplishment of the quality system in all productive areas, according to customer‑specific requirements, launching and audits. Manage the quality auditors reporting to the position, follow up required trainings or skill improvements, and fulfill corporate and organizational objectives. Ensure proper follow‑up for all customer quality requirements in assigned projects and for the business quality operation system.

• review, validate, create, and update cp, ods, spc, ppap, grrs, dimensional reports, capabilities, pfmea, first part release, msa as required.
• maintain open communication with customers to prevent complaints and resolve quality issues quickly.
• develop clear and effective quality inspection methods/routes to eliminate risk of non‑effective inspection.
• coordinate and ensure timely 8‑d resolution for formal and informal 3 cpr, mqr, cs1/2, customer and internal complaints.
• responsible for containment, rework processes, non‑conformance material disposition, and quality issues inside and outside the plant.
• follow up on new project launch stages, ensuring the advanced quality team delivers and covers all requirements before final release.
• train and support quality auditors and inspectors in all criteria, inspection methods, and documentation.
• track and report quality costs such as rmas, containment costs, scrap, complaint‑related costs, customer chargebacks, and debit notes.
• follow up and disseminate deviation information, ensuring closure on time.
• manage non‑conformance material in quarantine, coordinate weekly meetings with auditors, sqa, and the quality superintendent.
• address items identified in quick response boards, cqc audits, cc audits, customer visits, presentations, safety quality concerns, and other required meetings.

• background in bd‑engineering or a related major.
• english conversational skills – proficiency required.
• automotive tier 1 experience – mandatory.
• minimum 5 years of experience as a quality engineer in the automotive tier 1 industry, focused on airbags.
• experience with cushions and related quality documentation.
• strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.

• availability for timing, passion, drive, innovation, and resilience to work with a multicultural environment.
• travel availability.
• position reports to a quality superintendent.
• access to the plant can be difficult; a candidate must have personal transportation or an alternative.
• relocation support is not available for foreign candidates.
