what will you do?
design and oversee the construction of civil and structural facilities, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform project planning and design.
collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop structural designs and specifications that meet project requirements.
perform structural analysis and modeling using industry-standard software to validate design decisions.
monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to designs, specifications, and safety standards.
how will you do it?
utilize cad and structural analysis software to prepare detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications.
conduct inspections and quality control measures throughout the construction process to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to provide updates and address concerns.
incorporate sustainable practices and materials into designs, aligning with the company's commitment to environmental stewardship.
provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff within the team.
what are we looking for?
*required*:
bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
minimum of 3 years of experience in civil and structural engineering projects.
strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., sap*, etabs, autocad).
excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in english and spanish.
ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
*preferred*:
professional engineering (pe) license.
