* plan transport routes and select the right mode of transport for each shipment.
* confirm carrier availability and ensure compliance with assigned lanes.
* create and manage freight orders in the transportation management system.
* coordinate with carriers and logistics providers during execution.
* monitor shipment status and resolve issues proactively.
* prepare transportation paperwork and export documentation.
* review freight invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
* maintain accurate shipment records including costs and claims.
* track key indicators such as on-time pickup, on-time delivery, and service quality.
* support continuous improvement through data analysis and reporting.
your background
* degree in logistics, supply chain, foreign trade, or a related field.
* minimum 5 years of experience in transportation (inbound and/or outbound).
* advanced english required.
* experience working with carriers, freight forwarders, and ocean/air providers.
* strong ability to work independently with a sense of urgency.
* knowledge of transportation management systems.
