P&c manual test lead
highly skilled and experienced p&c (property and casualty) manual test lead to join our dynamic team. As the test lead, he/she will be responsible to set up a new offshore onshore model team and drive entire qa program for customer ensuring the quality and reliability of our p&c insurance software systems through comprehensive manual testing processes.
requirements:
• manual test lead with experience of 4-6 years in p &c insurance domain
• drive the entire qa program in an offshore/onshore model and setup the qa team.
• lead the planning, design, and execution of manual testing activities for p&c insurance applications.
• strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and best practices.
• develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts in collaboration with the testing team.
• should be well acquainted with stlc and exposure to all phases of sdlc.
• defect reporting and tracking using any defect tracking tool. Alm/ado is preferred.
• experience working with agile (scrum) and waterfall model.
• must have work experience in various manual testing areas – functional, integration, regression, smoke testing, sanity testing and end-to-end testing.
• coordinate and prioritize testing efforts to meet project timelines and deliver high-quality software.
• collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure accurate test coverage.
• execute test cases and identify, document, and track defects to resolution.
• provide guidance and mentorship to the testing team, ensuring adherence to testing best practices.
• participate in test strategy development and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• knowledge of insurance business processes and policy admin systems is a plus.
• excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• flexibility to learn and work with new technologies and new domains.
