Digis is looking for a senior bi engineer / business intelligence analyst to join our long-term partnership with a us-based insurance and financial organization.
about the project
our client is a well-established hybrid insurance company and social movement founded in 1895, focused on supporting women and local communities across the united states.
the current initiative is focused on modernizing and improving the company’s business intelligence ecosystem, including migration and enhancement of reporting processes from ibm cognos toward power bi solutions.
you will work on enterprise-scale reporting and analytics systems, collaborating closely with stakeholders and internal it teams to improve data visibility and reporting processes.
your responsibilities:
* build and improve power bi reports and dashboards.
* support the transition from ibm cognos to power bi.
* gather business requirements and manage reporting requests.
* work with sql, etl processes, and data warehouse-related tasks.
* validate reports and analyze data from internal systems.
requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in bi.
* 2+ years of experience with sql / ms sql.
* 2+ years of hands-on experience with power bi.
* understanding of etl processes and data warehousing.
* upper-intermediate english or higher.
* ibm cognos experience will be a strong advantage.
